Columban College, Inc. (CCI) joined forces with local medical organizations, including the Olongapo City Medical Society, Philippine Red Cross, Trust and Believe in the Foundation, Inc., Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, and Philippine Dental Association-Olongapo Chapter. Together, they spearheaded a one-day Medical and Dental Mission hosted at the CCI Asinan – Basic Education Campus on November 18, 2023.

The event saw active participation from volunteer student leaders, faculty members, administrators, and alumni, all contributing to the success of the initiative. A range of crucial services, including free medical consultations, circumcision procedures, bloodletting, blood typing, RBS (Random Blood Sugar) testing, tooth extractions, Vitamin C insertions, and breast examinations, were offered to the community. Reflecting on the significance of such community-driven activities, Jade Mariel Pareño, a student-volunteer from the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council (IDCC), emphasized the alignment with CCI's core values. "It's truly wonderful that Columban engages in activities like these because one of our core values is Christian Character, which means we should be humane by helping others in need," he said.

In addition to the medical services, CCI demonstrated its commitment to the well-being of the beneficiaries by providing complimentary meals and snacks following their respective consultations. The collaborative effort showcased the importance of community engagement and the positive impact it can have on fostering a sense of compassion and support.
